Cardiac Intervention

It's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving

Mother Teresa

→ From inception, HVB has tirelessly supported numerous patients affected by cardiovascular disease including those with valvular heart disease, cardiac arrythmias, ischemic heart disease, congenital heart defects and thromboembolic disease. HVB has achieved this by financially supporting hospitals to provide free treatment to those from low-income backgrounds whilst sponsoring the procurement of medical consumables that enable such hospitals to carry out lifesaving treatment.

→ Over the years, the team at HVB has often been contacted directly by patients or their loved ones, affected by cardiovascular disease. Many such patients are unable to afford diagnostic investigations or treatment. With an extensive medical network across the globe, HVB has arranged for diagnostic investigations and medical treatment of many such patients, reversing any morbidity and mortality affecting such cases. Of course, high quality medical treatment is provided free of charge to the patient! HVB is very grateful to Dr Anil Kumar, Cardiothoracic Surgeon, bestowed with the recognition as being one of the “five most outstanding cardiac surgeons of Indian origin in the world’’ by the KG Foundation in 2009. Dr Anil Kumar has assisted HVB in the treatment of many patients along with Dr Vijay Agarwal, Chief Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon.
